The superstar, currently traveling in the United States, confirmed in an exclusive interview with Variety India that he is set to marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5th.
“The news about the marriage is true. It’s on July 5,” Aamir stated. The wedding is expected to be an intimate affair attended by family members and close friends.
Who is Gauri Spratt?
Gauri Spratt is a Bengaluru-born entrepreneur and fashion professional. She studied Fashion Styling and Photography at the University of the Arts London. Gauri comes from a multicultural background; her mother, Rita Spratt, was a well-known salon owner in Bengaluru, and she is the granddaughter of Philip Spratt, a notable figure in India’s freedom movement. Gauri was previously married and has a seven-year-old son.
A Journey of 25 Years
Aamir revealed that he and Gauri first met nearly 25 years ago. While they lost touch for a long period, they reconnected about 18 months ago. Their long-standing friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic commitment. Aamir introduced Gauri to the media for the first time during his 60th birthday celebrations last year.

In his recent interview, Aamir expressed a deep sense of contentment. “I feel lucky to have met Gauri. I find a lot of peace when I am with her,” the actor shared. He acknowledged his previous marriages to Reena Dutta (1986–2002) and Kiran Rao (2005–2021), noting that while those relationships were significant, he feels “blessed” to have found a new partner in Gauri.
