Diplomatic Correspondent: China’s ambassador Yao Wen said that the election is Bangladesh’s internal matter and China will not interfere in the matter.
The Chinese Ambassador said this during a meeting with the Planning minister on Wednesday (August 16).
He said that China is interested in investing in infrastructure development in the western part of Bangladesh. After the meeting, Planning Minister MA Mannan and Ambassador Yao Wen briefed reporters.
At the same time, Chinese investors are interested in working with Bangladesh in the production of electric vehicles. These issues have been discussed with the Chinese Ambassador.
The ambassador said that China, as a long-standing friend of Bangladesh, would extend all cooperation to the development of bilateral commercial relations.
Even after 2026, China will stand by Bangladesh by providing duty and quota free trade facilities even in the obstacles faced by Bangladesh in world trade.
He said that China is not worried about the payment of foreign debt to Bangladesh.
