Political Report: The Chief Patron of the Jatiya Party (JAPA) and Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Roshan Ershad paid a courtesy call to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister KM Shakhawat Moon confirmed that Roshan Ershad paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister at Gana Bhavan on Saturday (August 19).
He told that during the meeting the Prime Minister talked and inquired about the physical condition of Roshan Irshad.
Shakhwat Moon said that they also discussed the current political situation in the country and the upcoming elections.
The Prime Minister thanked the Jatiya Party for playing a constructive and positive role in a parliamentary democracy.
Along with this, the responsible role of opposition parties in strengthening democracy and the constitutional government system was also discussed.
