Diplomatic Correspondent: The foreign minister AK Abdul Momen stated clearly that the government is not under any foreign pressure regarding the election and that no one’s opinion will be tolerated.
He said this at a press conference held at the Foreign Service Academy on Thursday (September 7) afternoon to inform about the preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit to Delhi.
The foreign minister said we are not under any pressure because we are very clear that we will have a good election. Whether others like it or not, it’s their problem. They will crumble under pressure, but we will survive.
The minister also said that we want regional peace and stability. We are committed to free and fair elections. We don’t want any rigging. I want fair and transparent elections.
If anyone out there can extend a helping hand to us, we welcome it. But if someone comes up with the role of matabbar, we will not tolerate it.
We are a free and sovereign country. Bangabandhu’s daughter Sheikh Hasina is not afraid of anyone. In response to the question of whether the government is under pressure on the election issue, he said, “We don’t want to see proxy wire.”
Because we are very clear that we will choose the beautiful one. Whether others like it or not, it’s their problem.
