Local Correspondent: An allegation of the death of a madrasa student (13) due to sexual abuse has been made in Patuakhali’s Baufal. He died while undergoing treatment at Dhaka National Cancer Research Institute and Hospital around 8:30 pm on Friday.
However, according to the student’s father, his son died due to sexual abuse. He demanded justice of the madrasa director in this incident.
The deceased student was a student of the Hefz Department of Nazirpur Tanterkathi Union Bara Dalima Madinatul Uloom Qawmiya Hafezia Noorani Kindergarten Madrasa and Orphanage.
When the news of the boy’s death spread, the accused Salim Gazi ran away after closing the madrasa, the locals said.
According to the boy’s family, the director of the madrasa, Hafez Salim Ghazi, sexually abused him in various ways after admission. Two weeks ago, he fell ill. Later, he was treated locally and admitted to the National Cancer Research Institute and Hospital.
The boy’s father said that his son told him before his death, “Hafez Salim Gazi loved him very much since admission.”
Later, the director kept him with him and sexually abused him almost every day.” Forbidding anyone to say anything about this, he threatened to kill his son.
