Health Report: The number of deaths due to dengue is adding in the country. In the last 24 hours, 9 people have died of dengue fever across the country. Because of this, the number of deaths due to dengue has increased to 453 this time.
Besides this, 1,565 dengue cases were admitted to the sanitarium in the last 24 hours.
This information was given in the dengue report of the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Friday( August 18).
According to the Health Department, out of 1,565 people diagnosed with dengue from Thursday( August 17) till Friday 8 am, 804 are residers of Dhaka and 761 people outside Dhaka.
This time, from January 1 to August 18, an aggregate of 95 thousand 877 people were affected by dengue across the country. Of these, 46 thousand 933 are residers of Dhaka. At the same time, 48 thousand 944 people were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka.
Also, till now, 87 thousand 851 people have been discharged from the sanitarium. Of these, 42 thousand 967 are residers of Dhaka and 44 thousand 884 are people from outside Dhaka.
Before 2022, 281 people had died due to dengue. In the last month of that time, in December, 27 people died of dengue.
