Dbarta24 Sports Desk — Bangladesh is set to return to One Day International (ODI) tri-series cricket after a seven-year hiatus as part of an action-packed October tour in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and host authorities confirmed the full schedule, which features a one-off Test against Afghanistan alongside a triangular ODI tournament featuring Afghanistan and Zimbabwe.
The upcoming tournament marks Bangladesh’s first involvement in a three-nation ODI format since 2019. All fixtures for both the Test match and the subsequent tri-series will be staged across prominent venues in the UAE.
Squad Movement and Preparation Schedule
Bangladesh’s primary Test squad is scheduled to depart for Dubai tomorrow, October 1. Upon arrival, the team will undergo training sessions on October 2 and 3, followed by a two-day warm-up match starting October 4 to acclimatize to local conditions.
The remaining squad members—currently representing Bangladesh at the Asian Games in Japan—will join the national camp in Dubai on October 6. The complete contingent will hold combined practice sessions on October 7 and 8 ahead of the red-ball fixture.
