Delhi Tops Air Pollution List, Dhaka Ranked Fifth

Desk Report: Delhi is at the top of the global air pollution list today, with the air quality in the Indian capital categorized as highly hazardous.

Meanwhile, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, ranks fifth. This information was revealed by the Air Quality Index (AQI) monitoring organization, IQAir, at 8:29 AM on Monday, December 2.

Delhi, the most polluted city in the world, has an alarming pollution score of 253, indicating that the air is in a very unhealthy state.

Lahore, Pakistan, is ranked second with a pollution score of 226, also marking the air quality as very unhealthy.

Karachi, another city in Pakistan, occupies the third position, with an air pollution score of 193, categorizing the air as unhealthy.

Accra, the capital of Ghana, is in fourth place with a pollution score of 187, signaling unhealthy air conditions there as well.

Dhaka follows closely in the fifth spot with a pollution score of 179, also indicating unhealthy air quality in the Bangladeshi capital.
