According to the latest ICC Test rankings released on Wednesday, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto and pace sensation Nahid Rana have made significant gains.
Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored 101 and 87 in the two innings, jumped 16 places to reach the 23rd position in the batters’ ranking—a career-best for him.
Young speedster Nahid Rana also saw a rise following his devastating 5-wicket haul in the second innings. He moved up 5 spots to 64th in the bowlers’ list.
Veteran batter Mominul Haque moved up 12 places to 35th after his crucial contributions of 91 and 56.
Other key performers like Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam also improved their standings after their consistent bowling display in the historic series win.
