International Desk – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed responsibility for launching 12 ballistic missiles at high-value US military targets stationed at the Al-Azraq airbase in Jordan.

According to the IRGC, the strike specifically targeted hangars housing US F-35, F-15, and F-16 fighter jets, as well as command and control centers and other critical military infrastructure.

Tehran asserts that its long-range missiles successfully struck and heavily damaged multiple installations within the base.

This bold claim follows a wave of recent US military operations targeting Iranian assets. Prior reports indicated that US forces had carried out strikes on Iranian military installations, radar networks, and air defense systems.

In response, Iran warned that it would target US bases across Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain with coordinated missile and drone strikes.

However, Iran’s claims of substantial damage remain independently unverified. The Jordanian military stated that it intercepted several missiles over the Al-Azraq region, reporting no casualties or significant infrastructure damage.

Similarly, US defense officials confirmed that the vast majority of incoming Iranian missiles and drones were successfully neutralized.
