Khairul Alam: At the top of air pollution today is Jakarta, Indonesia. On other hand Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh ranks fifth. Tuesday (August 4) at 10:20 a.m. this information was revealed from the Air Quality Index (IQAIR) from the air pollution quality monitoring agency.
Jakarta tops the air pollution list with a score of 167, which means the air is unhealthy.
It is followed by Karachi in Pakistan with a score of 124. This means that the air quality is not healthy for sensitive groups. Especially for those who have asthma, any lung disease.
Lahore of Pakistan is in the third position. The city has a score of 113, which means that the air quality is not healthy for sensitive groups.
On the other hand, the capital Dhaka is at number 5. Dhaka’s score is 99, which means that the air quality here is moderate to tolerable.
If the score is between zero and 50 then its consider air quality is good . After then score 51 to 100 is consider moderate or tolerable. The score of 101 to 150 is considered unhealthy for sensitive people.
Score of 151 to 200 considered unhealthy for locals . Then the score of 201 to 300 is considered very unhealthy and score 301 is considered disastrous for environment.
