The city of Kuching in Malaysia, which is at the top of pollution, received a score of 161, which means that the air quality there is at an unhealthy level.
Dubai in the United Arab Emirates ranks second in the list of pollution levels. The city got a score of 157 which means the air quality there is also unhealthy.
Lahore, Pakistan, came in third place. The pollution score in this city is 151 which means that the air quality in Lahore is also unhealthy. Followed by Jakarta in Indonesia and Delhi in India in fifth place.
Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is ranked 16th on the list. Dhaka has a pollution score of 82 which means that the air quality here is moderate or acceptable.
Air quality is considered good if the score is between 0 and 50. 51 to 100 air quality is moderate or acceptable. A score of 101 to 150 is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. 151 to 200 is considered unhealthy.
A score from 201 to 300 is considered very unhealthy. Moreover, if the number is more than 301, it is considered catastrophic.
