Foreign Desk: Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea, has made a visit to Russia, during which an unknown ballistic missile was reportedly launched by the country.
This information was disclosed by the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff.
On Wednesday, September 13, when the missile launch occurred, the President of North Korea, Kim Jong Un, was on a visit to Russia.
It is worth noting that earlier in the day, there had been talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, with the primary topic of discussion possibly being arms sales.
Kim Jong Un had arrived in Russia on Tuesday, September 12, upon receiving an invitation from Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin formally welcomed him during his visit.
Prior to this visit, Kim Jong Un had not undertaken any international travel for over four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
