Desk Report: South Indian actress Rashmika Mandanna is currently enjoying the best phase of her career. Last year, she won the hearts of audiences with blockbuster films like Animal and Pushpa 2.
Now, she is busy working on her first Bollywood film, Sikandar, alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. However, even before the shooting of Sikandar is completed, news of a new film featuring this duo has emerged.
According to Indian media reports, Rashmika will be starring opposite Salman Khan in the next film by director Atlee Kumar, known for Jawan. Although no official announcement has been made yet, this news has sparked excitement.
On the set of Sikandar, a strong chemistry has developed between Salman and Rashmika. Rashmika praised Salman, saying, “Salman is truly a down-to-earth person.
During the shoot, when I became unwell, he regularly checked on me and asked the crew to give me nutritious food and hot water.” Director Atlee plans to make use of their strong on-screen chemistry in his upcoming film.
Salman and Atlee were both impressed by Rashmika’s performance in Pushpa 2, which led Atlee to choose her for his new movie.
Indian media outlets are reporting that Rashmika has already signed the contract, although Atlee has not made an official comment on the matter.
This movie will also feature veteran stars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, alongside Salman and Rashmika. The film’s shooting is expected to begin later this year.
Meanwhile, during the shoot of Sikandar, Rashmika injured her leg while working out at the gym. Despite the pain, she is now focused on promoting her eagerly awaited film Chhava.
Directed by Lakshman Utekar, Chhava is based on the story of the Maratha Empire, with Vicky Kaushal portraying the role of Shivaji Maharaj and Rashmika playing the role of Rani Yashubai. The film is set to release in theaters on February 14.
