Health Desk: In the last 24 hours, 12 people have died due to dengue. With this 273 people died of dengue this year.
This information given by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Wednesday (August 2).
In the last 24 hours, the number of newly admitted patients is 2 thousand 711. Of these 1,130 people are from Dhaka. One thousand 581 people of other category.
According to the Health Department, currently 9 thousand 325 patients are admitted in various government and private hospitals across the country. These include 4 thousand 869 people from Dhaka. The remaining 4 thousand 456 are in other departments outside Dhaka.
From January 1 this year till now 57 thousand 127 patients have been admitted to the hospital. 47 thousand 529 people were given exemption.
