39 arrested in anti-drug campaign in the capital Dhaka
Crime Report: 39 people arrested for the crime of selling and consuming drugs in the capital city by Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
They were arrested from different police station areas of the capital from 6 am on Friday (18 August) to 6 am on Saturday (19 August).
The additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of the Media and Public Relations Department of DMP said that 4 thousand 380 yaba tablets, 15 kg 410 grams of Ganja, 20 pure heroin of 101.5 grams and 72 bottles of Phensidil were seized from the accused.
He also said that 32 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the accused at the DMP police station.
