Khairul Alam: The name of Dubai city in the United Arab Emirates comes at the top of air pollution. The capital, Dhaka, ranks 9th in the list.
This information was revealed by the Air Quality Monitoring Organization’s Air Quality Index (IQAIR) index on Saturday (August 12) at 8:16 am.
Dubai, which topped the list, had an air quality score of 169, meaning its air was at ‘unhealthy’ levels. In second place is Jakarta, Indonesia. The city’s score is 168, which means the air quality there is also unhealthy.
Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh is at number three on the list. The city’s score is 164, which means the air is poor.
Dhaka ranks ninth in the list of pollution levels. The capital Dhaka has a score of 114, which means the air quality here is unhealthy for sensitive groups. Especially unhealthy for people with lung diseases and asthma problems.
