Khairul Alam : 50 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers across the country have been prepared for the opening.
An official of the Ministry of Religious Affairs said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate mosques and Islamic cultural centers tomorrow (Sunday).
He said that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the model of fifty mosques in the fifth phase at approximately 10 o’clock in the morning. From his official residence at Ganabhaban.
With the aim of bringing the true message of Islam to the people and following in the footsteps of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came up with the idea of building 564 model mosques across the country. Islamic cultural centers include separate places for ablutions and namaz along with an air-conditioning system.
In addition, there will be registration and training arrangements for pilgrims to the Sacred House of God, imams training center, Islamic library and research center, autism corner, pre-burial ritual system, car parking, hafzkhana, pre-school education, Quran learning arrangements and conference hall for Islamists.
Cultural activities and Islamic call, Islamic book selling center, accommodation facilities for local and foreign guests besides mosques.
