Sports Desk: Former Sri Lankan captain Lahiro Thirimanne has been admitted to a hospital after being injured in a car accident near the town of Anuradhapura in the northern region of the country.
The accident occurred this morning when the vehicle Thirimanne was traveling in collided head-on with a lorry coming from the opposite direction.
