On suspicion of being involved in the incident, a person named Sohail Rana (22) was arrested on Wednesday (August 16) and sent to court. However, the main accused Mohammad Ali is absconding.
According to the police, Mohammad Ali had a love affair with the girl on her mobile phone.
Mohammad Ali had brought the victim girl on Monday afternoon to talk about marriage.
Later, he took the girl to an abandoned house in the Pauli area of the upazila and raped her.
After the rape, Mohammad Ali left her with his friend Sohail. Later Sohail also raped the girl.
