At the event, Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS) President National Professor A K Azad Khan spoke on how Omari is an affordable good option for Type 2 diabetes patients in Bangladesh and why Imegli is a novel drug that can play an effective role as a unique addition to the treatment of complex diseases like diabetes. Moreover, he urged for further studies to be done in this regard in Bangladesh.
The Secretary General of the Diabetic Association explained how diabetes cannot be kept under control if there is no awareness. Moreover, medicine is also needed along with awareness.
More than half of the patients with Type-2 diabetes have uncontrolled diabetes. The three medicines, Omari, Imegli, and Glifo-M, will play an effective role in controlling blood glucose, improving Beta Cell function, insulin production, and enhancing mitochondrial function.
These three medicines are a unique addition to the treatment of complex diseases like diabetes. Needless to say, Omari is the first diabetes control medicine developed in the country which only needs to be taken once a week.
