The elevated expressway was inaugurated on 2 September

Khairul Alam: The Dhaka Elevated Expressway will be inaugurated on 2 September. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate a part of this elevated expressway built in the country’s first public-private partnership.

This decision was taken in the meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the Awami League on Saturday (August 12) night.

Several leaders who attended the meeting said that the Dhaka Elevated Expressway section (from the airport to Tejgaon) would be inaugurated on 2 September. To mark the inauguration, the ruling Awami League will hold a large public meeting in the capital that day.
