West Indies Announce 15-Member Squad for Test Series Against Bangladesh

Sports Desk: The West Indies have announced a 15-member squad for their upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh, set to begin on November 22.

The Caribbean team will be led by Craig Brathwaite, who will captain the side in this crucial series.

All-rounder Jason Holder, who is sidelined due to injury, has been omitted from the squad, and in his place, another all-rounder, Anderson Phillip, has been called up.

Additionally, batting all-rounder Justin Graves makes his return to the Test team after 10 months, following strong performances in domestic cricket.

There is also a call-up for spinner Kevin Sinclair, who replaces fellow spinner Bryan Charles in the squad.

Fast bowler Alzarri Joseph, who was rested during the recent South Africa series, is also included in the squad, adding extra firepower to the West Indies’ pace attack.

Justin Graves, who was part of the West Indies squad during their recent tour of Australia earlier this year, will provide added depth to the team’s pace department in the Bangladesh series.

Spinner Gudakesh Motie has been dropped from the squad ahead of the Bangladesh series.

The full West Indies squad for the Bangladesh Test series is as follows:

Craig Brathwaite (Captain), Joshua Da Silva, Alzarri Joseph, Keshav Maharaj, Justin Graves, Kavem Hodge, Tevyn Emalch, Shamarh Brooks, Micaiah Lewis, Anderson Phillip, Kemar Roach, Jaden Seals, Kevin Sinclair, Jomel Warican.
