Crime Report: An allegation of sexual harassment has been made against the English subject teacher of Basandhara Branch (Day) of Vikarunnisa Noon School and College in the capital. After that the teacher was transferred from the Bashundhara branch to the main campus on Bailey Road.
It is known that the father of the girl victim of sexual harassment made a written complaint to the president of the governing body on August 29.
In the written complaint, the student’s father mentioned that the teacher sent indecent SMS to his daughter several times during private lessons. Which is very offensive and disrespectful. He has sought redressal of this incident in a written complaint.
According to the complaint, English assistant teacher Abu Sufian sent offensive messages to the student on her mobile phone. He was transferred on Sunday (September 3) following the incident.
When asked about the complaint, the head of the Bashundhara branch said, ‘After the complaint was received, the acting principal from the main campus came to know the matter. The accused teacher has been prevented from teaching.
