Political Report: The party has announced a fresh three-day program demanding the release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and the resignation of the government.
BNP Senior Joint General Secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement at a press conference on Tuesday (August 15) afternoon. It’s held at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan in the capital.
He said that the physical condition of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has deteriorated and prayers will be organized at the metropolitan, district, and sub-district levels across the country on Wednesday (August 16) to pray for her recovery.
On Thursday (August 17), pamphlets will be distributed across the country demanding the release of Khaleda Zia and better treatment abroad.
A march program will be organized across the country on Saturday (August 19).
Also, as a continuation of the Together Movement, massive marches will be held in all major cities including Dhaka on Friday (18 August) to demand the resignation of the illegal government.
