Of these, 1042 people were admitted to various hospitals in Dhaka, and 1883 people were admitted to various hospitals outside Dhaka. At the same time, 11 more people died of dengue.
This information was given in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Health Department on Sunday (August 13).
It has been said in the circular that at present a total of 9 thousand 733 dengue patients are being treated in various government and private hospitals in the country. Presently, there are 4 thousand 335 dengue patients admitted to public and private hospitals in Dhaka and 5 thousand 398 dengue patients in other hospitals.
This year, 85 thousand 411 patients have been admitted and treated in hospitals due to dengue infection. Of these, 42 thousand 746 people took treatment in Dhaka and 42 thousand 665 people outside Dhaka.
75 thousand 280 people have returned home after recovering from the hospital. 38 thousand 104 people in Dhaka and 37 thousand 176 outside Dhaka have returned home after recovering.
This year, 398 people have died due to dengue.
