Muyabia labony ; Dhaka – The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has issued a weather alert warning that 11 districts across the country are likely to experience temporary gusty or squally winds accompanied by rain or thunderstorms by this evening.
According to the weather office, winds could reach speeds of 45 to 60 km/h. Inland riverports in the affected regions have been advised to hoist cautionary signals.
This information was revealed in the weather forecast for internal riverports, valid from 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Monday.
The forecast states that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary west or north-westerly gusty or squally winds speeding at 45 to 60 km/h may lash over the following regions:
